Recycling Information for Prairieville Township Minimize

Prairieville Township Recycling

  • Punch cards are required and can be purchased at the township hall during regular business hours.
  • Each punch on the new card is for a 20 gallon container. The punch card is good until it is filled. Additional punch cards can be purchased.
  • The first 20 gallon container is free for residents each recycling date if you have a punch card.
  • Non-residents may participate also. See below or inquire at the Township Office.
  • Recycling will be the 2nd and 4th Saturday starting in April 2021, from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Remember to crush your water bottles and milk jugs. It really helps free up space. Thank-you.

When non-recyclables or unclean items are placed in the bin, the entire load may be sent to the landfill. This is counter-productive to the goals of the program.  Please make sure all items are clean!

Please: be mindful of the posted list of forbidden materials! Thank-you.

The County has a recycling website. barrycountyrecycles.org (A link is provided above)

To date, 10,000 lbs of batteries have been recycled at the township.

 
Expansion of Recycling to Orangeville Township Minimize
  • Punch cards are required and can be purchased at the Prairieville Township hall during regular business hours.
  • A distinct orange punch-card has 10 punches for $20.
  • Each punch on the new card is for a 20 gallon container. The punch card is good until it is filled. Additional punch cards can be purchased.
  • Recycling will be the 2nd and 4th Saturday starting in November 2021, from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
